LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR
Julian Kim made his Peruvian debut as Lord Enrico Ashton in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Gran Teatro Nacional, as part of the 8th International Opera Festival organized by the Alejandro Granda Cultural Association. Among the cast, Australian soprano Jessica Pratt—now celebrated for her portrayal of Lucia—and Korean baritone Julian Kim were noted as standout performers. His commanding stage presence, precise high notes, and refined vocal line drew comparisons to the legendary Piero Cappuccilli, establishing him as a highlight of the festival.
