IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA

Julian Kim made his opera debut as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Jesi, Fermo, and Ravenna starting in November 2009. After performing in numerous operas, he had the opportunity to reprise the role of Figaro more than four years later. This time, it was at the prestigious Teatro La Fenice, where he was the sole Figaro for the production. Under Bepi Morassi's signature staging at La Fenice, Julian Kim portrayed a youthful and agile Figaro in nine performances that season. This engagement also marked the beginning of his annual appearances as Figaro until 2019.
