CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA
Jootaek Kim reprised the role of Alfio in Cavalleria Rusticana the day after his performance in Magenta. This time, the performance took place in Vigevano under the direction of conductor Roberto Gianola, organized by Mario Mainino, and featured the Sinfonica Provincia di Lecco orchestra. Despite a last-minute change in the lead tenor, the performance proceeded successfully.
The event coincided with Notte Bianca Vigevanese, a "White Night" festival in Vigevano, where the streets were filled with people celebrating. This marked the first performance of Cavalleria Rusticana in Vigevano in 49 years, drawing an audience of approximately 600 people, exceeding expectations. The strong reception highlighted the success of the performance.
